What is the worship music like?

We have live worship every Sunday. Our musicians play Contemporary Christian music. The band is made up of people who are passionate for Christ and sharing the gifts that God has given them with Him and those around them.

What age can I put my child into Sunday School?

We are offering Sunday School classes to children from age 4 all the way through 5th grade. The classes are structured in a fun and engaging way for the children in this age group to remember the lessons well and participate with their peers in class.

What are the kids doing in Sunday School?

We’re kicking off a new series called “Jesus Loves Me”. and kids will learn that Jesus loves all of us. River Community Church uses the KidCheck electronic check-in system to help ensure the safety of your children;  please check-in your kids at the Education Wing lobby kiosk before Sunday school begins.

Are the projects worked on in class messy?

No more messy than any elementary schoolroom. We use markers, crayons, glue sticks, and scissors for some of our projects. The children are then able to take the projects home for a great reminder of the lesson throughout the week!

We have on-site parking with a handicap accessible entrance. The entrance to the parking is on the left hand side of Route 44/Mill St. There is also additional parking available in the municipal parking lot next to the church building.

How do I get to the municipal parking lot?

When traveling on Mill St keep left and go around the bend following the East-West Arterial (Route 44). Make a left onto Main St. and another left onto Market St /Civic Center Plaza. Turn right into the Parking Lot structure/Bus Depot and find a spot!

What if they’re collecting money to park in the municipal lot for an event?

No problem! Just tell them you’re attending a Sunday service at the church.
